John Williamson

John Williamson, the undeniable Australian icon, brings his distinctive sounds to the 16s stage on Saturday 5 September. John will showcase new songs like Heatwave, Girt By Sea, Clouds Over Tamworth, Keep Walking, Kings and Queens and many more that capture real people and real Australia, and of course not forgetting those old favourites that can never be left out of his show.   An ARIA Hall of Fame member, John Williamson has won 3 ARIA Awards, 4 APRA Awards, 8 TSA Awards, 8 MO Awards, 24 Golden Guitar Awards and sold more than 4 million albums in Australia earning numerous GOLD and PLATINUM Records. On Australia Day 1992, Williamson was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) “for service to Australian country music and in stimulating awareness of conservation issues”.   Very few artists have experienced or earned the longevity of such a career as John Williamson. His voice and sound is as recognisable and important to Australia as the Southern Cross is to the flag. He’s performed at some of Australia’s most historic and nation-stopping events, and to battlers across this vast country. His songs and music are simply for everyone. His music has continued to capture this country, its people and events for forty-four years. During this time he has toured continuously and in 2014, released his 50th album, ‘Honest People’.   For a memorable night with a true Aussie icon, join John in the Spinnaker Room on Saturday 5 September. Tickets are now on sale on-line or at the Club for $44, with special premium seating dinner and show tickets also available for just $79.  [On-line purchases may attract an agent's fee.] ...

Kevin Bloody Wilson

The Kevin Bloody Wilson Show is not just a concert performance - it’s a full on event and an opportunity to tick from your bucket-list a chance to see Australia’s most unique International comedy legend. Join Kevin and his special guest supporting act Jenny Talia from Australia for a night of side splitting, tear-inducing strictly R Rated hilarity as they grace the 16s stage with his ‘Helping Prevent Global Boring ’ Tour.   Kevin has become a national institution – a must see for any person wanting to see absolute original Australian comedy. His recently released biography ‘ DILLIGAF, The Life And Rhymes Of Kevin Bloody Wilson’ is a raucous, earthy, in-depth look at perhaps one of the only Australian Comedians who has not bowed to the pressures of political correctness. Kevin Bloody Wilson’s story is remarkable.  He has become a part of Australian Culture, a part of who we are and how we define ourselves. His DILLIGAF attitude is a quality to be envied.   His record sales are now nudging the four million mark. Without traditional media support, all of Kevin Bloody Wilson’s albums and DVDs have achieved Gold Sales status globally, with many reaching Platinum, and one, ‘Kev’s Back’, awarded an amazing quadruple Platinum. It seems ironic that twenty-five years ago, Kevin Bloody Wilson was being arrested for performing his songs in public, yet on Australia Day in January 2010, he was officially nominated for Australian Of The Year for doing exactly the same thing.   Don’t miss the legend himself when he brings his hilarious show to the 16s on Friday 11 September! Tickets are now on sale on-line or at the ...

Daryl Braithwaite

In a distinguished career that started as the lead singer of 70s band Sherbet and resulted in 3 Australian King of Pop crowns, Daryl Braithwaite is one of Australia’s premier performers, who had even greater success with a solo career. Daryl remains an integral part of the evolution and development of Australian popular music and is a must see live on stage. Join Daryl as he takes to the 16s stage with a cannon of uplifting classics, including One Summer, As The Days Go By and The Horses , plus the countless timeless gems from his days fronting Sherbet , such as Summer Love, Howzat and Cassandra , to name just a few.   Now 64 – yes, 64! – Daryl’s famous voice still sounds as fantastic as ever and his lifetime addiction to surfing means he’s as fighting fit as men half his age.
