The Great Tradition is back………….
It all began the summer of 1932 when Dr R. Pittar, while sailing his yacht Warrani, from LMYC was told by the skipper of a 16ft skiff to
"Move that tub out of the way"
Dr Pittar replied,
"Our tubs will race your tubs, and I've got a fiver to say that we beat you"
The race was financed by raffling off a five pound note for three shillings per ticket.
